Vision Twenty/20

In 2010 both Kay and Tom Cottrell celebrate significant milestones. Kay runs her twentieth Comrades Marathon and later in the year Tom launches the twentieth edition of the Nedbank Runners’ Guide. To celebrate the Cottrell’s have a set up an education trust to help a number of young girls from very deprived backgrounds. They call this Vision Twenty/20.

Kay is a teacher at Auckland Park Preparatory School, a private and privileged place of learning. Over weekends she devotes her time and knowledge to young girls who live close by and don’t have the means to sound education. Together with a handful of dedicated teachers from Auckland Park, every weekend Kay builds a platform of knowledge, learning and self-confidence. This is the hope and the story of Saturday School.

Kay and Tom’s Twenty/20 Vision is to take the class of 2010 to the finish line. The girls from Saturday School deserve better. Their vision is to give quality education to the girls of Saturday School to matric and beyond. Vision Twenty/20 is ambitious but it does need help - your help. If you would like to help Kay and Tom Cottrell and make a donation to Vision 20?Twenty please click here...
