MEDIA NOTICE : APPOINTMENT OF MEDIA COORDINATOR COMRADES MARATHON
The Comrades Marathon Association is delighted to announce that a permanent dedicated person has been appointed to manage the Media functions of the Comrades Marathon.
Since 2000 the CMA has gone from being a semi professional organization into a fully fledged professional world class organization. Major steps have been made in the Information Technology spheres and the CMA can boast that www.comrades.com is one of the most visited sports web sites in Southern Africa, with over 1 Million hits per month. Due to the continued growth of the CMA and its tireless efforts to strive for excellence, Katia Jones who has been assisting with the Media function within the CMA has been appointed as the new, Information Technology Coordinator for the CMA. Katia has done a terrific job and we wish to thank her for her efforts and her unwavering dedication to the CMA and wish her all the best in her new role at the CMA.
Craig Fry has been appointed the Media & Communications Coordinator for the CMA. Craig has been involved within the professional sports management arena for the past 9 years working with professional cricketers, and for the past 6 years in and around Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. His priority will be to manage all Media related activities which will allow for the CMA to grow existing relationships with the Media and allow for greater content for all our Media partners, be it print, electronic and or audio visual.
