| Editor's Notes: |
The Glasfit Half Marathon has been consistently ranked by the Runner’s World race judges as a well organised and well presented event. Since the initiation of their ranking system, it has often been voted as one of South Africa’s top twenty half marathons.
This race will be run for the 23rd time in 2009. It is usually an easy Two Oceans and Comrades qualifier, and is conveniently placed on the race calendar. The cut-off time for the half marathon is 03:00.
At the time of writing, the organisers advised a possible venue change. This usually means a route change as well. Watch the press for details.
