Pre-entry is essential, and no late entries will be accepted. There is a registration point for the collection of numbers and goodie bags on the day before the race in Cape Town.

| Route Description: |
Route Type: Out and back
This is a moderate and scenic race that is run mostly inside the West Coast National Park along side the Langebaan Lagoon. A feature of this event is the absence of cars which are not allowed inside the park during the race. The marathon is point-to-point and starts at Tzaarsbank inside the Park, while the half marathon is an out-and-back event starting at the finish venue in Langebaan.

| Prizes and Give-Aways: |
| Gold medals go to the first five men and five women, and silver to finishers in sixth to 50th place. The remaining finishers who finish within the cut-off period receive bronze. There will be dri-fit T-shirts on sale. |
