Pre-entries close on the Wednesday before the race. Late entries are taken on the evening before the race between 17h30 and 21h00 at the Port Elizabeth Beach Yacht Club, Hobie Beach.

| Route Description: |
Route Type: Circular
The race starts along Marine Drive and is run in an easterly direction. This route is undulating and mainly uphill for approximately the first 20 kilometres. The return journey is easier as you return downhill, back along the coast to Hobie Beach.

| Prizes and Give-Aways: |
| Category winners, the first 10 men and the first five women win gold medals. The next 135 finishers win silver medals, and all other finishers who make the cut-off get bronze. Those who complete 10 races get a permanent number. There are sponsors' give-aways and loads of lucky-draw prizes up for grabs. |
