Pre-entry forms are also available for the marathon and half marathon event. Late entries are taken at the start from 04h30. Grand Masters enjoy free entry.

The race is moderate in marathon terms; an easy qualifier.

| All category winners get gold medals and all who finish within the time limit win medals. There are also lots of lucky-draw prizes to be won. |

Walkers are welcome to enter the half marathon or the 10-kilometre event. This is usually a well-organised race with a carnival atmosphere at the water points.
