Entries are also taken the night before the race from 18h00 to 21h00 at the Heidelberg High School Sports Ground. Late entries for the 42.2 km race are accepted on race day at the Heidelberg High School Sports Ground from 04h00 - 04h45 and for the 21.1 km race at Zoutpan, halfway down the R322 to Witsand,from 05h00 - 05h45 and for the 10 km race at the Vondeling Primary School from 06h00 - 06h45.
Transport to the start of the half marathon will leave heidelberg high School Sports Ground at 05h30. Transport costs are included in the entry fee.

| Route Description: |
Route Type: Point to point
This easy, scenic marathon is mainly downhill, with the only hilly section in the first 13 kilometres. The route goes through a flat agricultural area known as "Die Vlakte", down to White Sands. You will pass large flocks of ostriches and see a range of farming activities en route to the sea.

| Prizes and Give-Aways: |
| Cash prizes to category winners. Gold medals to the first 5 men and 5 ladies, silver medals to finishers under 03:15 for the marathon and under 01:30 in the half marathon. All other finishers who finish within the cut off time receive bronze medals. Goody bags to the first 250 entries. |

There is also a 10-kilometre race starting at 07h00 from the "Vondeling" Primary School. Runners in both the half marathon and the 10-kilometre event will be transported from The Heidelberg High School to the starting point.
The half marathon has a 03:00 cut-off and the 10-kilometre event is run in support of the local Cancer Association and has a 01:30 cut-off.
