| Route Description: |
Route Type: Out and back This is a moderate, scenic route which is given a very special atmosphere by the lanterns placed 15 metres apart in the middle of the road for the entire distance. The steepest hill is in the first quarter of the race and is about two kilometres long. Most of the return trip is a nice gentle downhill run. In the interests of safety, no vehicles are allowed on the route. The organisers also request that you wear reflective clothing.
