| Entry Details: |
Pre-entry is essential for the marathon and half marathon, and no late entries will be accepted. Entries forms also availabe from www.strandlopers.co.za. There is a registration point for the collection of numbers and goodie bags on the day before the race in Cape Town and the West Coast National Park offices in Langebaan. Entries for the 5 km fun run are taken at the start.

| Route Description: |
Route Type: Out and back
This is a moderate and scenic race that is run mostly inside the West Coast National Park alongside the Langebaan Lagoon. A feature of this event is the absence of cars which are not allowed inside the park during the race. The marathon is point-to-point and starts at Tzaarsbank inside the Park, while the half marathon is an out-and-back event starting at the finish venue in Langebaan.

| Prizes and Give-Aways: |
| Gold medals go to the first five men and five women, and silver to finishers in sixth to 50th place. The remaining finishers who finish within the cut-off period receive bronze. There will be dri-fit T-shirts on sale. |

Buses leave the finish venue in Langebaan and take you to the start between 05h00 and 05h30. The half marathon starts at 07h00 and has a 4:00 cut-off time and the five kilometre fun run at 07h30.
