Pre-entries close a week before the race. Late entries are taken at the clubhouse during the week before the race and at the start from 05h00.

| Route Description: |
Route Type: Circular
The route is moderate, open and in places fairly demanding, with short sections run on gravel roads in the Bloemfontein surrounds. One thing this race will provide is good psychological preparation for the Comrades.
The 10-kilometre route is flat and run within the city.

| Prizes and Give-Aways: |
| Category winners receive gold medals and cash prizes in all events. All 64-kilometre runners who make the 05:00 cut-off win silver, and all other runners home in less than 08:20 receive bronze medals. Marathon runners who make the 03:00 cut-off win silver, and all other runners home in less than 05:00 receive bronze medals. 10-kilometre category winners receive gold medals and cash prizes and all other finishers receive silver or bronze medals. There will also be lucky draw prizes. |

This race will be run for the 33rd time in 2010. It is traditionally the last Comrades qualifier in the Free State. The cut-off time for the marathon is 05:00 and the 10-kilometre is 02:00. The start time for the marathon is 06h00 and the 10-kilometre 06h30.
