Pre-entries are available at local sports shops in the Vaal Triangle and Johannesburg. Pre-entries usually close on the 28th February. Late entries are accepted at the start venue between 14h00 and 18h00 on the Saturday before the race and at the start from 04h30.

THE RUN
This two lapper gently meanders through the four suburbs of Vereeniging and along the Suikerbos, Vaal and Klip Rivers. While it is fair to say that the route is flat, it is by no means the easiest marathon; you will have to work the whole way.

EDITORS NOTES
Walkers are welcome to enter the half marathon. This is the biggest event in the Vaal Triangle and will celebrate its 44th anniversary in 2018. It is highly recommended as a flat and fast Comrades qualifier and attracts hundreds of runners from the Reef. It is a short 45 minute drive from Johannesburg. The race has well appointed watering tables, fun filled entertainment along the route and an exceptional finishing venue.
