THE RUN
This scenic route opens with a flat eight kilometres around the town of Lime Acres. The going is fairly easy once you leave town until you pass the halfway mark where the route gets a lot harder for a few kilometres. There is some relief around the 30-kilometre marker where you can enjoy an easy downhill canter. The run to the finish is uncomplicated enough but look out for the 200 metre climb to the finish.
PRIZES AND GIVE-AWAYS
Gold medals go to the first three finishers, finishers within 03:00 get silver and all other finishers within the 05:00 time limit get bronze medals. The first 70 entrants get T-shirts.

This race is held in the small mining village of Lime Acres, home to two major mining industries: diamonds and lime. It is called the ‘Flat One’ because at certain high points on the route you can see almost the entire marathon route.
