AMOBIA BAY ULTRA MARATHON & HALF
THE RUN
The route will pay dividends to those who are cautious in the opening stages. The first 16 kilometres or so are mainly uphill as you take the pull out from the Port Elizabeth beachfront. The route goes through Walmer, Mount Pleasant and onward to Old Seaview Road with the highest point at 206 metres. The return journey is your great reward as you first run down to Schoenmakerskop and then on the scenic coastal road past the Willows, ending on the beautiful coastal cycle path to Hobie Beach.
PRIZES AND GIVE-AWAYS
Category winners, the first 10 men and the first 10 women get gold medals. The next 130 finishers get silver medals and all other finishers within the time limit get bronze. You get a permanent number after completing 10 races. There are lots of lucky draw prizes up for grabs.
