OLD FISHERMAN'S TRAIL CHALLENGE
THE RUN
The Old Fisherman's Trail Challenge is broken into two legs, mostly single paths, with a transition point at Silvermine Dam within the Table Mountain National Park. The first leg starts from Hout Bay Harbour with a steep climb to get warmed up. The second leg starts with a gentle down hill, then there are a few ups and downs as you make your way to the finish at the Fish Hoek Beach Sailing Club.

EDITORS NOTES
EDITORS NOTES
The route follows a similar route that the fishermen used to take to cross the mountains that separate the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The race’s start and finish points alternate each year between Hout Bay and Fish Hoek. The course will follow an 'up' run in 2021. You will be given a route map and description to follow to each checkpoint. The navigation is not difficult as long as you can read a map and follow marked route.
Time Limit: 05h00
