This scenic route features a longer 21 and shorter 10 kilometre run. Both start at the top of the Lebanon Forest. Both are uncomplicated and combine a sensible mixture of rolling orchards, verdant pine forests and mountain fynbos. Your treat is a sweeping view over the Elgin Valley and its surrounds. The technical running is minimal, as are the steep ascents.
The different distances will meet at various stages during the route, so don’t be surprised. The five kilometre event is a fun and interesting circular route through the farmlands and orchards, with two river crossings.

Buses take you back to the start to fetch your cars from 10h30. There is a tog-bag drop at the start of the 21 and 10 kilometre races if you would like to have dry clothes at the finish.
